“Sex and gender in research - Enhancing excellence of science”
For too long, research has been done without a consideration of sex and gender, be it in animal or human studies. The problems that arise from such negligence pertain in equal measures to fundamental biology, medicine, social sciences and engineering. But excellence in science is not limited to how science is done; it also deals with who does science and what kind of research is valued by the community. Excellence can only be achieved through inclusive approaches.
