30 years ago, in the Indian state of Bihar, a group of village midwives confessed on camera that they routinely murdered new-born baby girls. Using archive footage that has never been seen before, this BBC Eye documentary explores the disturbing subject of infanticide in rural India – and tells the moving story of one woman’s campaign to save girls’ lives.
