The first design from Wolfgang Van Halen in collaboration with the EVH brand, the new semi-hollowbody bolt-on SA-126 is here! Join us as The Music Zoo's Jordan Usatch gives a run down on the new exciting model from EVH.

We have been very excited about the release of this guitar since we first saw it onstage in Wolfgang's hands with his band Mammoth WVH! This is the SA-126 from EVH, available in four colors: Transparent Purple, Tobacco Burst (pictured), Matte Army Drab and Stealth Black. It's a semi-body guitar with bolt-on neck construction.

The SA-126 features chambered mahogany topped with maple, a basswood centerblock and bolt-on satin-finished mahogany neck topped with an ebony fretboard. The design also features Tim Shaw-designed humbuckers that are direct-mounted to the body (a classic EVH spec), the 70's-esque harmonica bridge, individual volume and tone controls per pickup, and a graphite-reinforced neck.
