Had no intentions of saving this old girl and the guy I got it from seamed very knowledgeable. I still can't believe someone would do such a horrible job wiring the welder. Anyways.... These are fantastic machines but virtually all the old buzz box stick welders of this era were. There were much better more refined machines but these just are the most popular. Size wise they are pretty bulky and heavy. You can get machines that do what these do with electronics vs transformers these days that weigh virtually nothing and cost under $100 but nothing beats an old buzz box.
