Arabic langurage, which is the language of Quran, has its own alphabet. This alphabet consists of 29 letters and written from right to left. In order to read Quran correctly, the first thing we need to do is to learn these letters and their pronounciation.
Not all the sounds or letters in Arabic have their equivalance in English. There are some sounds that require special effort to learn and pronounce. It is important that we hear and practice how these sounds are pronounced
First, we start with the names and written forms for the 29 letters of the Quranic alphabet. These letters must be learned and memorized.
