Ninhursag, also known as Ninmah, Nintud, or Mammetum, holds a significant place in Sumerian mythology as a figure associated with fertility, motherhood, and the creation of life.

However, Modern interpretations of ancient texts, particularly those influenced by Zecharia Sitchin's work, suggest a more unconventional view of Ninhursag. These interpretations propose that she was not a deity but an extraterrestrial princess from the planet Nibiru, part of the advanced anakh empire civilization. According to this perspective, Ninhursag played a pivotal role in genetic experimentation, allegedly giving birth to Adamu, the first Homo sapien, thereby initiating the human lineage. Seen through this lens, she is reimagined as an interdimensional being who contributed to humanity's origins rather than a divine goddess.

Ninhursag was the first to give birth to a Homo sapien, preceding all other Anunnaki maidens who were later appointed by her and Thoth to bring forth the subsequent Adam and Eve models. Together with Enki, she perfected the genetic modifications of the Anunnaki, a process detailed in the Lost Book of Enki and the Enuma Elish. It is noteworthy that no Anunnaki before her had ever given birth to a human. Ninhursag truly deserves recognition and honor for her a role.
