The West of Scotland Branch (25 November 2021) hosted Peter Bennet to present on working at height. Work at height takes place all day, every day, and everywhere. In the APPG on Working at Height ‘Staying Alive’ report, it was estimated over 1 million businesses and 10 million workers carry out work involving some form of working at height every year. That’s a lot of people working at height, and as a result, a lot of people at risk of falling from height. But, working at height doesn’t need to be dangerous – with the right people, right planning, right equipment and right training, everyone who works at height can come back down - and go home - safely.
Following the presentation we will provide any local and Branch updates.
