Floods in Pakistan | Devastating floods wreaked havoc across Pakistan. At least 1,00,000 people have been evacuated from eastern Punjab province. Hundreds of villages have been submerged under floodwaters. Thousands of acres of cropland have been damaged in the disaster. Due to heavy rain, the Sutlej River burst its banks and started overflowing. Officials said rains prompted India to release excess reservoir into Sutlej, causing floods in Pakistan. Full story here
