Here's the blotter update:
- I'm going to save more detailed thoughts for the blog post (here's a link: [ Ссылка ]) but for now I'll say that I think H24's drydown will prove to be its most divisive component. The metallic facets mentioned in the video become more prominent as the scent develops, and when viewed from certain angles, they can present the whole in a somewhat harsh light. However, when considered in a different way, they're the very feature that stops the scent from going down the route of most 'woody' modern masculines: the metallic feel echoes the bitterness of classics such as Chanel Pour Monsieur, with their sophisticated, chypre inkiness. Bottom line: I'm looking forward to wearing this more and getting to know it better.

[* In November 2020, I was commissioned to complete a writing project by the brand Amouage. The project may or may not have a bearing on the scents released by the brand from 2021 onwards. At the time of writing this note, my intention is to continue mentioning and reviewing all Amouage scents released up to the end of 2020, except in posts/articles where perfumes from several brands are included and presented as part of a selection/collection (eg ‘best of’ posts and lists).]
