Gulf Shores, Ala. (WPMI) The Gulf Shores Police Department says it has located the body of 17-year-old Chaston Brown.
Officials say the teen was found not far from where he was missing near East Gulf Place.
The Louisiana teen went missing Sunday after he was pulled under water by strong rip currents.
A friend tells Local 15 that another friend tried to rescue Brown, but a wave split them apart.
The Gulf Shores Police Department says they are thinking of the family during this difficult time.
