Britten Norman BN2B-26 Islander, G-HEBO, departing from Old Warden Airfield following the Shuttleworth Flying Festival of Britain Airshow 2021.
This aircraft was built in 1993 at Bembridge, Isle of Wight, UK during the period when Britten Norman was in the ownership of Pilatus. It was originally registered G-BUBK. It went to Japan registered JA5319 with Nagasaki Airways on 3rd April 1995 and was transferred to New Central Air Service Corporation in Japan in April 1996, where it remained until 2012. It returned to the UK in May 2012, again as G-BUBK with Cormack Islander Aircraft at Cumbernauld Airport, Glasgow, Scotland. It was transferred to Hebridean Air Services Ltd in October 2012 when it was
re-registered G-HEBO. It remained with them until July 2016, flying from Oban. It was then transferred to Islander Aircraft Ltd at Cumbernauld Airport, Glasgow until September 2020 when it was transferred back to Cormack Islander Aircraft. It was repainted during January 2022 and has been recently leased to Hebridean Air Services, again flying scheduled services to the islands of Coll, Tiree, Colonsay and Islay, scenic sightseeing, aerial photography and charter flights from Oban Airport in Scotland.
