This week’s adventure was a daytrip to Siantar (also known as Pematang Siantar). We had visa-related stuff to sort out in Siantar city, so we jumped on the ferry to cross Lake Toba and drove two hours to reach the bustling, colourful city.
Travel isn’t always glamorous and exciting, especially when relocating to a new country – this week’s vlog shows a glimpse into some of the day-to-day tasks of shopping for supplies and making ourselves at home on Samosir Island, North Sumatra.
Kota Siantar is the second largest city in North Sumatra after Medan – if you’re driving from Medan to Lake Toba, you’ll pass through it about halfway through your journey.
Thanks for watching our daytrip to Siantar vlog – see you next week!
