With the Low Floor deadline fast approaching,the good buses are disappearing rapidly.Stagecoach are preparing for this already and we have seen the sad departure of the Mercedes 709D's back in April this year.Now its the turn of the Volvo Olympians. An influx of scania Enviro 400's are seeing off the ex-London 1998/9 Tridents and the Olympians.The Transbus and ADL tridents are replacing them.

Here is a short tribute to the beloved Olympians that have operated around the world of many years and here in Devon,its time to say goodbye.Stagecoach Devon ordered a batch of 4 new in 1997:

They also took several ex-London ones too along with some Palatine bodied ones over the years.Some of the Alexander ones spent their life in Torbay for their 2 final years in service.
