Kwan Yin Tong - Goddess of Mercy Cave Temple is situated in Ipoh Malaysia. Ipoh is surrounded by many limestone hills and caves. As a result, they are many cave temples in around the city of Ipoh in the Kinta Valley. The two most popular temples mentioned in all the guide books are Sam Poh Tong and the Perak Cave Temple. There are around 30 additional temples in Ipoh also of which Kwan Yin Tong is one of them. Its still expanding and renovations are ongoing when funding is available.
There are about 75 statues of "Guan Yin (Deity)" here.
People come here to visit daily or pray to Guan Yin for good health and fortune. Its very busy esp during the Chinese New Year every year.
