CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The Cincinnati Police Chief has confirmed Brogan Dulle was found dead in a building close to his apartment Monday night.
Police were called shortly after 9p.m. Monday evening to a building on East McMillan between Maplewood and Paris St. The 911 call came from the landlord of the building where Dulle was found. Chief Blackwell described the initial call appearing to be a, "burglary in progress." Upon further investigation by police they were able to determine there was a deceased male in the building.
Local 12's Curtis Jackson asked Chief Blackwell and the Hamilton County Coroner, Dr. Lakshmi Samarco, if the death appeared suspicious. Blackwell responded, "At this point obviously he's been missing for seven days. So we think it appears, at this point, emphasis on it appears right now at this point, self inflicted."
The coroner also confirmed there are no signs of foul play after the
initial investigation. However, a homicide has not been ruled out until
further investigations have been conducted.
Chief Blackwell told the press that the building, close to Dulle's apartment, had been secured and the exterior searched "extensively" during the manhunt for Dulle over the past week. Police and many of the search parties walked around the perimeter and saw no sign of Dulle or any clues that he might be inside the building.
Dr. Samarco described the scene where Dulle was found as, "A difficult place for somebody to discover him without actually being inside the building. Perimeter wise, I don't think he would have seen any indication that he was in the building."
The building where Dulle was found is being rehabilitated.
