Running from the Abbey of Cambridge, through Ditton Meadow, Stourbridge Common, Riverside, Midsummer Common, Bridge Street, Trinity Street, Kings Parade, Mill Lane, Trumpington Road, Long Road, Addenbrookes, and Great Shelford.
The last section runs along the 10,000th mile of the UK's National Cycle network.
There are 10,000 coloured stripes.
Colour coding stripes , representing DNA are seen along this section(running parallel to the railway)
Cambridge is famous for pioneering research into DNA, hence this decoration!
