The EMANES, the EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies (EMANES) 7th Annual Conference 2022 “Social inclusion and mechanisms for social protection for the Mediterranean and Africa” took place at EMEA HQs at Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on 15-16 December 2022.
In this video, Prof. Rym Ayadi, President and Founder of EMEA opens the event emphasising the importantce of the theme and explaining that at the end of the conference, EMANES will award 3 researchers the Best Paper Award for their contribution to research on social protection.
She then introduces the keynote speaker, Prof. Nada O Eissa, Associate Professor of Public Policy and Economics at Georgetown University, delivers her speech titled Social Inclusion for Social Protection in the MENA Region.
