Hi guys, and welcome back to my channel! If you're new here, my name's Rachel and I'm a huge Eurovision fan. In today's video, I reacted to the live performance of the Spanish entry for ESC 2022, 'SloMo' by Cuban-born singer Chanel. Chanel won the approval of the Spanish at the newly revived Benidorm Fest, beating the likes of Rigoberta Bandini and Tanxugueriras to represent her country.

Chanel's song is in the classic reggaetón style, with spicy lyrics delivered in a strategic mix of both Spanish and English. The musical content of the song is nothing insanely spectacular or avant-garde, with limited chords and some repetitive elements. HOWEVER, it's the artist that makes the song shine. Chanel delivers a cracking live performance, including some world class chroeography that is anything but laboured, which could match up to the likes of Shakira or JLo. Spain should be proud of this entry, showing other countries how the Spanish language can shine on the Eurovision stage, performed by a very capable artist who is both confident and experienced in delivering a quality performance.
