(15 Nov 2017) Young people have scuffled with police in the heart of Brussels on Wednesday, only days after riots left cars ablaze and shops looted.
Belgian Interior Minister Jan Jambon said in a Twitter message on Wednesday that "again, unacceptable and incomprehensible violence" had hit the centre of the capital, adding federal police wassending in reinforcements.
The scuffles started in the late afternoon and eyewitnesses said they had subsided one hour later.
On Saturday night in the wake of Morocco's qualification for the World Cup, rioters tore up one street in central Brussels and injured 22 policemen.
The authorities were criticised for arriving late to the scene.
