On a beautiful Autumnal Day, along with friends David Felking and Lyndon Newman, we visited the Dean Forest Railway in Gloucestershire, and found that two locos were in steam, Hunslet Austerity No.2857 WD75008 , and Ex GWR loco 5541. Both locos and the passenger stock were a credit to the Railway. A big thank you to the Volunteers for making us so welcome and in particular to Tony Macey for doing such an excellent introduction for me.
