This Savi's Warbler video was taken on 26th May 2014, at Newport Wetlands RSPB. This bird stayed around given great views for at least a couple of weeks, maybe longer once it stopped singing, if a mate arrived??? As you will hear, if you have listened to this and the Grasshopper Warbler video, they have slightly different songs (sorry about the camera shutter noises too). They are both amazing sounds, which really dont sound like birdsong at all! Or sadly, like a lot of people, you may be able to hear this at all, let alone distinguish between them!
