Aisha as-sayyida “the mistress” Al-Manubiya (c.1199–1267) was a prominent Tunisian Sufi master/mistress, saint and scholar, revered for her piety, charity & almost feminist like advocacy for women’s education and for women's roles in spiritual and intellectual pursuits.
