Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, has accused the top negotiator of the Palestinian Authority of lies and incitement, on the eve of a very high profile US attempt to restart the stalled Middle East peace talks. Prosor accused Palestinian leaders lashing out at Israel and undermining the peace process, by alleging Israel's political stance towards Palestinians was "worse than those of apartheid-era South Africa", towards blacks. According to Prosor, the Palestianian Authority are playing a double game by pretending to support peace talks, while at the same time continuing to engage in anti-Israel propaganda.
