I healed up quick before I started recording. We finish off the gym leader here, get some medicine, fight a Suicune stalker, and rest up.
Let me just say, I got really lucky here. Primeape isn't really the problem in this fight. It's the level 30 poliwrath that this gym leader packs. I'll admit, I have never seen frozen status last that long.
Anyways, I smokescreen'd him 6 times just incase he broke out, because of how powerful he can be. He has dynamic punch, a very strong fighting attack that will confuse on each hit, which has a base accuracy of 50% I think. Combine that with the fact that he has mind reader, a move that makes the next attack have a 100% hit chance, and his high physical attack, it really does pack a punch. Lucky enough, his AI isn't always smart enough to do mind reader - dynamic punch, but he will do it on occasion. Surf is pretty strong as well, doing large amounts of damage on things it is neutral towards.
I didn't use Bayleef as it wouldn't be that much of a help, seeing as how the AI is usually smart enough to avoid resistances if it can.
About Eusine, if you can beat the gym leader here, you shouldn't have any troubles beating him.
