Amit Shah is visiting West Bengal over the next two days during which he will hold public meeting and interact with various sections of the people. Amit Shah's visit comes at a time when Trinamool Congress is rocked by desertions and it is being speculated that several rebel TMC leaders will join the BJP. Within a period of five years, BJP has managed to position itself as the number one opposition party in West Bengal. Amit Shah’s visit is expected to boost the rank and file of the party and reiterate BJP’s commitment to dislodging Mamata Banerjee as chief minister.
