Elkhan Yusifov is a PostDoctoral researcher in Prof. Dr. T. Hornemann's lab at the University Hospital of Zurich. At the same, he is a co-founder of Azerbaijan Neuroscience Society.
He finished his PhD in Neuroscience in Prof. Dr. E. Stoeckli's lab at the University of Zurich.
Upon completing high school in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2014, he moved to Toronto to start Bachelor education at the University of Toronto (UofT), Canada. His bachelor education was supported by the Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2007-2015 Program. After successfully completing Bachelor's with double major in (I) Neuroscience and (2) Cell and Molecular Biology, he moved to Zurich to pursue a Master's degree in Neuroscience at the University of Zurich
