We taste Izarra Verte, a green alpine liqueur from the Basque region of France. This product is very similar to Green Chartreuse and other genepies and herbal liqueurs from France, but it has a character all its own.
Specifically, we explore the ways in which Izarra Verte differs from Green Chartreuse, both in ABV, texture, and flavor profile. Luckily, it differs in qualitatively interesting and useful ways!
