With the final pick of the 2023 NFL draft the Los Angeles Rams selected Desjuan Johnson, making him this years "Mr Irrelevant". While there is an uphill battle being selected to late in the draft, it should still be a proud moment in the eyes of NFL hopefuls selected in that position.
Paul Solata, the man who invented the Mr Irrelevant persona said the purpose of creating it was to inspire those selected with the last pick. "It does not matter if you were picked 1st or last. The fact that you were picked at all is an honor."
While some players understandably struggle in their career in the NFL, it is actually quite surprising how well some of the picks have done over the past decade.
