Have some semi-sweet chocolate chips.
They have been in a bag inside a plastic container in a cupboard for 2 years but expiration date on the bag says that's one year too much.
What's the shelf life for different kinds of chocolate chips and what makes them go bad?
Side question, am I okay to eat the ones I have?
