Over the last few days, my friends and I have been sitting together trying to get hard... mode cleared in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's DLC's Teal Mask's minigame, Ogre Oustin'. Get your mind out of the gutter.

This is a tough minigame in that you need to get a ludircous amount of berries by popping balloons while also defending the turn in point. This is likely undoable solo, at least for now so close to launch.

We decided to use the strategy where we all spread out to one corner of the map and then come back with the berries. I was designated the guard, meaning I had to repeatedly press the R button to drive away Munchlax and other threats to our stash.

Good thing this new Switch controller with turbo came in the mail-- made life a lot easier for us.

If you win this minigame, you will gain a surefire shiny Munchlax with the Crafty Mark (The Opportunist title when thrown out). There are arguably easier ways to get Munchlax shiny, such as breeding (albeit with a large step count), or just plain looking around with a Herba sandwich. Speaking of, you do get Herba Mystica as a prize from this, in addition to the Kitakami Mochis, so it's definitely worthwhile if you get the hang of the minigame. Even Ability Patches are on the list.

I don't know why the developers made this such a fun minigame in a freaking DLC and threw such compelling incentives for us to participate and actually socialize, but they did. And it's been a ride.
