NewsClick Row | The government has taken action against NewsClick as it has suspended the NewsClick's X (formerly Twitter) account. We are joined by panelists to discuss the issue of NewsClick row. The case is about a publication accepting money from a foreign govt & then doing their propaganda in India. Right now we need an intelligence network & national security framework to come into play. What was the govt doing for the past 2 years? What was the intelligence doing, asked Advocate Nikhil Jain. When the ED initiated action against NewsClick in 2021 but the news portal managed to get an injunction from HC, which said that 'till further notice, they will get protection'.
