Dr. John Oleson is an archeologist and Classics scholar, and a professor of Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Victoria. He describes his twenty-five years as an archeologist in Jordan, and additionally his underwater archeology. In this video he explains the use of spare precipitation in desert environments, and his research into long lasting Roman concrete, in use underwater. He also discusses his teaching, and explains that archeology helps train students for jobs in a wide variety of fields.
