more judith lore! as a reminder of lore i've written before: "now in hell, judith supposed she would find better company amongst the rebels and traitors. but where she hoped to find like minded kin, instead she found the same problems and broken systems she faced in heaven. in a place where she thought she would finally have freedom, she is merely shackled down again, forced to serve as a succubus and use her body to secure souls for her unholy master. it becomes very clear to judith that neither heaven nor hell will be able to help her. she accepts that if there's something she wants, she's the only one who'd be able to get it."

i chose this song to represent judith's experiences in hell due to the sheer anger, frustration and exhaustion you can feel in both its lyrics and music. judith has a lot of trauma from her experiences with hell and the devil. it ranges from the abuse and manipulation she experiences at the hands of the devil, to the sexual trauma she gains from being forced to work as a succubus, to being made to feel like her worth lies solely in her body/sexuality. there's a lot she has to unlearn over the course of her story in order to feel like she has complete ownership of her skin again.

and the first choice she makes to regain power over herself...is to pursue magdalena. someone whom she is not tasked to "hunt." someone who cannot help her fulfill her duties as a succubus, and is virtually useless to her in that context. someone whom judith knows she can pursue all because of magdalena's one weakness...a weakness she intends to bring to the surface so magdalena can hide from it no longer.
