On the heels of what appears to be a second attempt to assassinate him in a few months, former President Donald Trump is forging ahead with his campaign schedule with his latest stop in Flint, Michigan for a town hall.
During this event, Trump shared his thoughts on the attempt and additional details about a woman who saw suspect Ryan Routh's car.
Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who served as White House press secretary for Trump when he was president, will served as the moderator at the town hall meeting.
After the previous attempt on Trump’s life during a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, his campaign briefly paused outdoor rallies, but went ahead with scheduled appearances at the Republican National Convention in the days afterward. There was no indication the latest apparent attempt on Trump’s life would dramatically alter his campaign schedule this time, either.
