1) Nicky Goulimis Co-founder and COO at Nova Credit
Nicky Goulimis is the co-founder and COO of Nova Credit. Prior to Nova, she was a consultant at Bain & Company where she worked with a number of European Retail Banks. Nicky began her career in the international development space working for Ethiopia’s Ministry of Agriculture on its smallholder farmer financial access initiatives. Nicky is originally from Greece and grew up in the U.K. She holds a BA from Cambridge and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was awarded the Miller Social Change Leadership Award.
Nova Credit: Nova Credit is a mission-driven company solving the problem of credit access for immigrants. The company’s platform offers cross-border consumer credit services that passes reports onto lenders, property managers and other domestic businesses so that they can make more informed determination on whether to accept or reject a credit application, enabling immigrants to seek financial services, housing and more when moving abroad through a digital credit passport software that helps lenders to view creditor’s history.
2)Victor Trokoudes Co-founder and CEO at Plum
Victor Trokoudes is the co-founder and CEO of Plum, one of the fastest-growing Fintechs in the UK. A Cypriot-Canadian “serial entrepreneur”, he studied economics at Harvard and has an MBA from INSEAD. After a stint on the trading floor for Morgan Stanley, Mr. Trokoudes joined TransferWise when the Fintech unicorn had 5 employees in the UK. He left when they were 500+, having built the team that launched TransferWise in 25 markets. Mr. Trokoudes then founded and led PoS terminal reseller BlueBird which he sold for a profit. He launched Plum in 2017, aiming to save the average customer £186,000 extra over their lifetime with the help of Plum’s smart technology.
3)Yannis Larios VP of Strategy and Business Development at VivaWallet
Yannis Larios is an Electrical and Computer Engineer with a PhD in Financial Risk management from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He has extensive experience in the Payments and Financial Services Market of Europe, as well as in Business Strategy and Public Policy formulation in the fields of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) since 1995. He is with Viva Payments since March 2012, assuming the role of Business Development Director and he is currently the VP for Strategy at its Board of Directors.
4)Astyanax Kanakakis Co-founder an CEO at norbloc
Astyanax has spent more than 12 years in Finance and Consulting, most recently as Associate Partner in McKinsey & Company, specializing in banking and corporate finance. He was previously Chief Commercial Officer in KnCGroup, the bitcoin blockchain pioneer, and Chairman of the Board in XBT Provider, the global leader in cryptocurrency ETNs.
Astyanax holds a BSc. In Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from University College London, an MSc in Advanced Computing from Imperial College, an MSc in Information Systems Management from London School of Economics and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
