As Levison Wood continues his journey along the Nile, he enters into Tanzania, one of the poorest nations on Earth. There, a group of people rob his equipments, leaving behind an important lesson for Levison to be careful from here on.

Walking the Nile follows British explorer and author Levison Wood's expedition to be the first person to walk the length of the River Nile from source to sea. A film crew follows Levison for part of the expedition, but he films most of it himself, capturing extraordinary, intimate moments rarely seen on screen.
