Anyone against the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta for a second term has until Thursday to file a petition in the supreme court. This being the end of the seven day period allowed by the constitution to challenge the election. The opposition says it will give a statement on Tuesday on how intends to proceed, and it still not clear what they intend to do. But if there are no petitions then the president will be sworn in on the 28th of August as our reporter Andrew Ochieng now reports.
