Britain’s High Court has blocked pollution claims against Anglo-Dutch energy giant Shell by many residents of Nigeria's Niger Delta region, ruling that the case should instead be heard in Nigeria.
The Ogale and Bille Nigerian communities accuse Shell and its Nigerian subsidiary of causing extensive environmental damage.
