Filmed on 27/06/1015. This is a 2 part special. A special day for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway as we go for a day trip to the diesel gala. In the first part, we take a train ride from Pickering to Gothland . The traction that took us was 45 060 as we see some hell fire moments from the locomotive. At Grosmont station, we see some shunting movements as the locomotives swaps at this station for the return trip to Pickering. Also running during the day was 45060, 20142, 31271, 37264 and a class 101 (Daisy). There was steam traction running from Grosmont to Whitby shuttle services. D7268 ran a special service on the Esk Valley Railway to Battersea . At Pickering, there is an 08 shunter that was shunting coaches getting the trains ready for departures.
A special mention to a good friend of mine, Connor Knight who works at North Yorkshire Moors Railway and a massive thanks to him and all of the staff.
