One tip - a little goes a long way! I’d recommend adding 1/2 to 1 tsp of baking soda along with the other seasonings for your tofu.
Here’s what I used in this video to season 16oz extra-firm tofu before air frying it: 1 tsp baking soda, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1.5 tsp garlic powder, 1.5 tsp gochugaru, 0.5 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp black pepper, 1/4 cup water. Marinate for 5 minutes. Coat the tofu with avocado oil then air fry for 15 minutes at 400F.
