U.S. Marines and Sailors with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (1/8), 2d Marine Division with support from 2nd Amphibious Assault Battalion and the crew of the USS Bataan conduct amphibious operations aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, May 18, 2013. The three day operation gave the Marines of 1/8 the opportunity to practice amphibious operations and tactics to train for future operations.
