Deputy chief medical officer for England Jonathan Van-Tam has said he would be “very much in favour” of his two youngest children being vaccinated if they were aged 16 to 17.
The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) also advised the Covid vaccine rollout should be extended to include 16 and 17-year-olds after reviewing the latest data.
