The United Nations Association of the USA - Sacramento Chapter- has created a short documentary about David Lubin, a Sacramentan whose historic contributions to the world are largely unknown, even though the concept of the League of Nations, the predecessor of the United Nations, originated with him (rather than with Woodrow Wilson).
Lubin’s focus on international cooperation to solve global issues was a radical idea at the beginning of the last century, but his ideas live on and continue to remind us that we are stronger together and that nations must collaborate to find common solutions.
Our documentary will be followed by a live Q&A from Morton Satin, retired Senior Food Executive with the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization and current Board member of UNA Sacramento
