A popular Indian actress, who was known for playing many supportive and motherly roles in Hindi and Marathi cinema.

She had a presence on Marathi stage for nearly four decades. She played a lead role in the Marathi serial Tuza Maza Jamena.

Upon her marriage to Marathi actor Vivek Lagoo. she took the name Reema Lagoo. The couple separated a few years later. They have a daughter named Mrunmayee who is also a stage and film actress as well as theatre director.

Reema Lagoo's sad demise has stunned the whole film industry. She passed away due to cardiac arrest at the age of 59 on 18th May 2017.
