3 ways to marinate tofu: Recipe ⬇️

Step 1: Make the marinades. Three types of marinade below:
1) Gochuchang marinade: Mix the following ingredients together.
- 1 tbsp gochuchang paste, 2-3 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp chilli oil and a pinch of salt if you like
2) Pesto marinade: Mix the following ingredients together.
- 1 heaped tbsp of basil pesto, 1-2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, half a tsp black pepper, chilli flakes and a pinch of salt
3) Tikka marinade: Mix the following ingredients together.
- 2 tbsp of greek yoghurt (you can use low or zero fat too), 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of chilli powder, half tsp of turmeric, salt and tsp of olive oil
Step 2: Once all the marinades are ready, divide your tofu (drained and pressed) into 3 equal portions. For example: I've divided the 500g block into roughly 166g each.
Step 3: Mix each portion of tofu in the marinade.
Step 4: Store it away in the fridge and use it within 5 days. It can be shorter but this works for me.
Step 5: To cook the tofu, add a tsp of olive oil in a pan and put the tofu in. You can add it to wraps, toast or as a side to the main dish.
