Angelica grows in regions through Europe and Asia. This statuesque plant sprouts umbrella-shaped clusters of light green-white flowers. These blossoms are kissed by the scent of honey and summon to them winged creatures and humans alike that bask in the energy of this gift from Gaia. The yellowish-brown root of the plant is harvested in the autumn and has been used for its warming and tonifying properties in European and Chinese medicine for thousands of years. The plant gifts two essential oils distilled from the roots and seed, the former being the focus here.
