This is the third recording of the SolidCAM Jumpstart Series, where a simple cover is programmed using some of SolidCAM's 2.5D Milling technologies. In this video, a Face Milling operation is added to the CAM-Part. The workflow of Operation dialog box is also covered in detail by first defining the Geometry, then creating and choosing the Tool, picking the Milling levels, defining the type of Technology to use, and finally choosing the Lead in and Lead out tool Link movements. After the operation is saved and calculated, the Face Milling tool path is shown in Simulation.
