Ephesians 2:1 tells us that we were dead in sin and now we are alive in Christ! What does being dead in our trespasses and sin mean? What was the fruit of being dead in our sin as unbelievers? As Christians, we have been made alive in Christ in order to be able to have good fruit and good works in our new life in Christ Jesus!
Ephesians 2 states that we were sons of disobedience who walked according to the world and that we lived our lives according to the lusts of our flesh. We were children of wrath and we all we did was fulfill the desires of our flesh and mind. However, now that we are alive in Jesus Christ by God's grace, we are God's product, meant for good works and righteousness.
