Installing Copper Rivets - Blademaster - using riveter
0:07 Insert gooseneck mandrel into base and tighten wingnut.
0:13 Insert pocket into gooseneck mandrel and tighten with allen wrench.
0:24 Insert drive pin and pin guide as shown.
0:41 Insert correct copper rivet in the hole as shown.
0:52 Position the skate so that the rivet head is supported by the point on the mandrel.
1:01 Place the correct burr on the rivet and lower the rack so that the die will press the burr down the rivet.
1:12 Apply steady pressure to "seat the burr" and retract the rack.
1:24 Repeat same procedure for other side.
1:57 Cut off excess shank leaving approx 1/8" protruding above burr.
2:08 Place skate on the point & lower the rack and apply pressure to seat the burr firmly and then "head" the rivet by striking the drive pin sharply with a plastic hammer.
