In 2021, UKRI awarded £12.4M of funding to marine research projects that would address critical gaps in understanding that have been identified by UK policy makers. 6 projects are being funded and are showing the tools and interventions that they have specifically produced to inform policy, regulation, and management.
This video is a project presentation of the "Restoration of Seagrass for Ocean Wealth (ReSOW UK)" project. The overarching goal of this project is to facilitate informed management and restoration of seagrass for sustainable social, environmental and economic net gains for the UK.
The presentation was made at the SMMR Symposium, held in Glasgow, November 2024.
